Angelo, did your sister hate it because she read the book? lol

I actually think the main characters were cast well, too. Some of the side characters, like Ridley's mom, was not what I expected at all! And of course, once you read the book, you'll note that some of the book characters didn't make the cut, surprisingly.

I didn't know that it didn't perform that well in the box office.

Stu, that scene with Lena and Ridley arguing was pretty wicked from a visual standpoint!

She didn't even read the book. She doesn't really have a reason and spent the entire film texting.

I need to finish the book already. I actually got a good chunk of it done earlier and it's finally picking up, so I might actually be able to finish it.

Ridley and Lena arguing was definitely one of my favorite scenes. I loved Larkin just sitting there like nothing was happening. Made for a good laugh.

I just came home from watching the movie... and I couldn't stop laughing at the end of the show. My friend (who recommended the movie) looked at my face and said "you are never watching any movies with me again, are you?"

I thought the premise was interesting (I've never read the book), but the movie didn't quite deliver on it. Emma Thompson was awesome though. And the Ridley-Lena scene was definitely one of my faves.

lol Bing! At least you went to go watch it and helped ticket sales. XD

Jess, if you loved the movie, then I think you'll like the book! There are big differences, but of course the overall story is the same.

I recently saw this movie and fell in love with it. I too loved the Lena-Ridley scene which made for a good fight.
