Last Book You Read

Rules are pretty simple; post the title and author of the last book you read. Give us your rating as well!

Thirst (No.1) by Christopher Pike - 4/5

Pretty good all around and interesting take on vampires. Sometimes the main character is a little too perfect and invincible, however.

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte - 5/5

I loved it. Brilliant book :D

Lirael by Garth Nix - 10/10

I love :D  Reading through the next in the series now.

Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko - 9/10

That one dates back a while, cuz I started 3 books right after which I've been reading since. Pretty damn awesome though, I love the very "no bullsh!t" way the stories are told in.

The Vampire Diaries: The Fury and Dark Reunion by L. J. Smith - 8/10

I didn't expect to like it that much, but I really did. Definitely has more amazing twists and believable feelings than Twilight.

Time Machine - 8/10

More like a novella, but amazing nontheless.

24/7 by Jim Brown - 7/10

Not brilliantly written, didn't necessarily like the story, but it kept me reading. I wanted to know the ending. It's fast-paced though, and I liked that.

(read it in dutch: Doodshow)

How to Ditch Your Fairy by Justine Larbalestier - 4/5

Interesting with a lot of laughs. Very cute.

Catcher In The Rye - 7/10

It was all right but the person I borrowed it from seemed to think it was the best book ever and, honestly, I just didn't feel it

I hated this book. Something about it just turned me off completely.

In the Devil's Snare - 8/10

Well written and an interesting take on the Salem Witch Trials. It can stay on my Book List after the semester ends :-p
